Overview
From GreenPill to Regens Unite to ReFi DAO, each of our communities share common overlapping values, missions, and identities. Yet at the same time, each has a unique proposition, unique audience, and unique resources & capabilities. How might we leverage these individual strengths and collectively coordinate for the combined good of all? What synergies could we unlock? What if we were to enact what Web3 was actually meant to unlock? COORDINATION. LFG 🌱🌱🌱
As proposed in the recent ReFi DAO Forum ‘To Network State or Not to Network State’ - What if we embraced a mindset of collaboration and abundance? What if committed #Regens banded together? What if we formed a global #RegenCoordiNATION?

Background
What is a CoordiNATION?
As defined by Primavera de Filippi of BlockchainGov and others, Coordi-nations are voluntary interwoven networks of communities with aligned values and a shared identity. They mutualise resources to redistribute them within the network and engage in collective action through participatory governance and inter-dependency between nodes.
- In contrast to Balaji’s conception of a network state, Coordi-nations emphasise voluntary association, shared values, and mutualism rather than territorial limitations, and rely on communities for cooperation, collaboration, and mutualism.
- They offer a new institutional structure for global cooperation that leverages the inherent potential of digital communities and modern information technologies to tackle global coordination challenges.
- Their sovereignty is carved out in the digital sphere and grounded in participatory governance and decentralized decision-making. Individuals can be members of multiple Coordi-nations, fostering a rich landscape of co-existing identity.
- They reduce incentives for free-riding, creating "economies of scope.”

Combined Networks
- Green Pill — tech-centric, public goods focused, engineering backgrounds, crypto-native, computer science, global north, meme-centric, quadratic funding
- Regens Unite — permaculture, conscious community, grassroots, local activism, designers, philosophers, Europe
- ReFi DAO — founder-led, global, global-south focused, conscious, inner regeneration, tech startup background, network of local events, local nodes, deep vision, long-term
Each of our networks have a unique proposition, unique audience, unique resources and capabilities. How can we leverage this for the combined good of all regens?
Economy of Scope
Economy of scope is a proportionate saving gained by producing two or more distinct goods when the cost of doing so is less than that of producing each separately.
How can each community specialize in their individual strengths but collaborate for collective gain & positive-sum synergy? What does each community have that we could offer to each other to create public goods for the CoordiNATION as a whole?

- Combined data infrastructure that allows us to share information in a positive-sum way. Ultimately benefits from network effects if done in the right way.
- The costs of starting individual data mappings is low but the cost of maintaining is quite high. With collaboration is the other way around but better in the long-term.
We are open to any other collaboration suggestions opportunities
